  Gorgeous views of Lake Siskiyou and the surrounding area, including Mount Shasta if the clouds are not out covering it. There are lots of bears and wildlife in the area, which isn't surprising since it's in the forest. Just make sure if you are camping here make sure to store your food properly. When we came here, the road down to the beach was closed. We could drive right down to the boat ramp area however, and we were still able to access the beach by parking at the arcade and just walking down. The lady at the front booth was polite and helpful, and we were thankful for her suggestion to park at the arcade and walk down. She also went over all the camping options with us, both now and then in June when everything else opens up. We had a nice time here, and we'll definitely be back again later in the summer. Beautiful views, fun camping, what more could you ask for?
